Gameplay Process or Flow of Play
Cornhole is typically played with 2 game boards, positioned 8 meters apart. The throwing zones for players are located on either side of each board. Cornhole is usually played with two players (1 vs 1) or four players (2 vs 2). The aim is to throw the bean bags onto the game board (1 point) or directly through the hole (3 points). The bean bags are always thrown alternately onto the game board. After each player has thrown their 4 bean bags, the points are counted. The difference between these two point totals is then added to the overall score. A player or team wins a set by being the first to reach 21 points or more. Two winning sets are required to win the game.
